106 GALLERY
A place where creativity meets community.
106 Gallery is more than an art space. Located in the heart of Grand Rapids’ Avenue for the Arts district, it serves as a home for exhibitions, community classes, leadership programs, and neighborhood events — all rooted in Dwelling Place’s mission to strengthen community through housing, connection, and creativity.
About 106 Gallery
Operated by Dwelling Place, 106 Gallery provides a welcoming space where art and community come together. The gallery showcases exhibitions from local and regional artists, while also hosting programs like Building Leaders, Building Communities (BLBC) and the Affordable Housing Advocacy Academy (AHAA).
106 Gallery is built for creativity and connection. With two open-concept levels, original wood flooring, and large windows that flood the space with natural light, it’s a warm and inspiring place to gather.
Movable gallery walls allow for customizable layouts, while included tables and chairs make it easy to host anything from workshops to formal receptions. The space also features a portable bar, sound system with speakers and microphone, and other flexible amenities to bring your vision to life. Whether you're planning an art show, community event, or creative gathering—106 is ready for it. The space is open to nonprofit partners who need a place to host organizational meetings and events that are free and accessible to the public.
